39th Inter-Agency Games 2012
14 February 2012
We are sorry for the delay in announcing this event. As you may be aware, UNESCO is experiencing serious financial constraints and we were hoping that our Administration, having accepted some time ago to host the 2012 Games, would provide some financial support, as in the past, despite the current difficulties. We were only informed yesterday that it would not be possible and that we have been invited, if we cannot not find alternative solutions, then the games should be postponed to 2013.
As we have already informed you, taking into account the current circumstances, we have been able, to negotiate with the city of the Biarritz that has kindly agreed to cover some logistics costs.
We are now pleased to inform you that the 2012 IAG will be held in Biarritz, France from 10 to 13 May 2012.
